ENERGY PAYMENT DUE

Automatic meters have been installed at all Douglas Electric's services. The meters will be read by Douglas Electric on the 1st of each month and a Statement of Electric Bill will be mailed for each service. Payment will be due in the Douglas Electric office on the 18th day of the month. On the 19th day of the month, a penalty of $5.00 or 1% of the bill whichever is larger will be added to the bill.

IN CASE OF AN OUTAGE

FIRST:

Check your fuses or breakers in your home.

SECOND:

Check your breaker below the meter on your yard pole.

THIRD:

Call your neighbor. If his power is also off, ask if it has been reported.

FOURTH:

When reporting outages, please give name of member and location number to assist with prompt response.

FIFTH:

If after the above checks have been made and you can’t locate your trouble, call (605) 724-2323.
